Sometimes God’s answer to prayer isn’t what we expect or want. No one knows this better than this week’s guest of Longing for More, Dorenthea Nemeth.

She prayed God would deepen her husband’s faith but was not prepared for how that would happen. Her husband was arrested, tried, and convicted of a crime and was sentenced to 16 years in prison. But this story isn’t about that.

It’s about how God carried Dorenthea through this storm and gave her a peace that surpasses all understanding. And then He gave her a platform to help her encourage and inspire others to trust God no matter what storm they encounter.
