121: Celebrating an Achievement of a Lifetime!

It’s rare when we get the opportunity to honor a true celebrity in our midst. But this week, we pay tribute to my father, Don Bourk, for being inducted into the South Dakota Auctioneer’s Hall of Fame.

You will get a glimpse of the man who forged a career out of a talent few others are blessed with. And we get to honor him for the work he continues to do after 60 years.

Join me as I focus the spotlight on my personal hero as he is recognized for living a life well-lived.

Main Points From the Show

Today we highlight my Dad, Don Bourk, for being inducted into the South Dakota Auctioneer’s Hall of Fame.

He didn’t allow early failure to deter him. He figured out what he needed to do better and kept going.

Don never met a stranger, only friends he hasn’t met yet.

Dad didn’t always do life perfectly, but that’s what makes his story so important.  He’s a living breathing example that we don’t have to be perfect. We can wander down our own path and God will be waiting for us when we turn to him.
